Our stay at De Oude Meul Country Lodge was delightful. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful gardens were a great escape from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations, serving delicious meals with a local flair. The location was also ideal, allowing us to easily explore attractions like the Cango Caves and Cango Ostrich Farm. The star gazing experience at night was a true highlight. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Everything was good from when I arrived till when I left. The welcoming I received let me feel so welcome. Beautiful lodge with surroundings. Food & service very good in the Restaurant. Loved the gardens and friendly owners!Will be back soon.

We had a wonderful experience at this country lodge and restaurant. the staff and owners, Marianne and Boy, were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our daughter especially enjoyed the animals on the peaceful farm estate, like the ostriches and rabbits. the rooms were spacious and clean, and we got a great deal for the suite. Breakfast overlooking the beautiful garden was a treat, with a variety of healthy and local options. the location by the Grobbelaars river allowed for outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. We also highly recommend trying the restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious ostrich fillet and a tasty salad.

my recent stay in oudtshoorn was amazing, but my stay at de oude meul country lodge & restaurant was even better. the friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation, and great breakfast exceeded my expectations. the lovely walks, swimming pool, and delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant were highlights of my stay. i will definitely recommend this venue to my friends and family.

Dinner service was slow.

The chalet-style rooms have verandas and are fully equipped. Aircon and comfortable beds. Extensive breakfast served on terrace. Best dinner on Route 62. Owner helpful with flat tire. Valued assistance!

I also enjoyed dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was very good. The lush grounds with a river running through them provided a peaceful and picturesque setting. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would highly recommend staying here.
